How to Change Your Webgility Password and Login Details

This article helps Webgility application users understand the difference between Webgility Portal and product login credentials and provides step-by-step instructions for updating/managing both. It clarifies how the Portal account is used for managing billing and account settings, while the product credentials are used to access Webgility Desktop or Webgility Online.

Types of Login Credentials

  • Webgility Portal Account Login

  • Webgility Product Login

    • Used to sign in to Webgility Desktop or Online application

    • Controls access to the actual software environment

Note: These two credentials are independent. Changing one does not automatically change the other.


Accessing the Webgility Portal

From a Browser

From Webgility Desktop

  • Click the Profile icon (initials icon) in the top-right corner

  • Select Accounts > Manage My Account

  • This will redirect you to the portal

From Webgility Online

  • Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner

  • Select My Account


Change Your Portal Login Email or Password

  1. Log in to the Webgility Portal

  2. Under the Home section, click on Profile

  3. Choose Edit or Change Password

    • Use Edit to update your email address

    • Use Change Password to set a new password


Change Your Webgility Product Login (Email or Password)

  1. Log in to the Webgility Portal

  2. Go to the Add-ons section

  3. Click on Users

  4. Next to the user you want to update, click Edit or Change Password

    • Edit: Update the user’s email login

    • Change Password: Set a new password for Webgility product access
