Fix “Parameter Count Mismatch” Error on Posted Orders Tab in Webgility

This article helps Webgility Desktop users identify and resolve an error that commonly occurs when Webgility Desktop is installed on multiple machines with different software versions. The mismatch in versions can lead to inconsistent parameters in database calls, resulting in this error. The article outlines steps to ensure all installations are aligned to prevent compatibility issues.

  • Check Webgility Version on All Machines
    Open Webgility Desktop on each computer.
    Go to Help > Terms and Privacy to verify the version number.
    Ensure all machines run the same latest version.

  • Backup Your Webgility Database
    In Webgility Desktop, navigate to System > Backup.
    Save the backup file (.bak) to the default folder (usually C:\Webgility).
    You can also set up automatic backups under Scheduler Settings.

  • Update Webgility to the Latest Version
    From the Webgility Desktop, go to Help > Check For Updates.
    If an update is available, click Update and follow prompts—make sure to backup the database when asked.
    After installation, restart Webgility and confirm the updated version under Help > Terms and Privacy.
