Connect Shopify Plus Sales Channel with Webgility Desktop
This help article provides Webgility Desktop users with step-by-step instructions for connecting a Shopify Plus sales channel. It covers adding a new sales channel, entering the store address, logging in to the Shopify admin, locating the correct .myshopify.com subdomain, approving the integration, and verifying successful connection. Following these steps ensures that Webgility Desktop can sync with Shopify Plus for accurate order and product data management.
Follow these steps to connect Webgility Desktop with Shopify Plus accounts:
Note1 : If you are connecting your first Shopify Plus sales channel in Webgility Desktop, after you log in you will be prompted to Add Sales Channel.
Note2 : If this is not the first sales channel that you are adding you can navigate to “Connections”, then click “Sales Channel” after that click on “Add new sales channel”
1). In the Add Sales Channel screen, select the sales channel type as Shopify and give your sales channel a name. Click Continue.
2). Connect to your store window will pop up. Here you will be asked to enter your Shopify Plus sales channel address.
3). Log in to your Shopify sales channel using a web browser with your admin username and password.
4). In the Shopify Plus store admin, go to Settings and look for “Domains” at the middle left of Shopify screen, and look for the “.myshopify.com” subdomain which redirects you to your Shopify sales channel subdomain (refer to the screenshot below)
5). Copy the address , and navigate to Webgility Desktop , paste it into the Store address field of Connect to your store window. Click Connect to Shopify
6). On the next screen, you will be asked to log in to the Shopify store admin with your admin username and password.
7). In the next window, it will ask you to approve the sync between Webgility Desktop and your Shopify sales channel. Click Install app prompt.
8). Once your sales channel is successfully connected it will give you the message, “Successfully Connected!”
9). Close the window. Webgility Desktop will begin downloading the sales channel information. Once this is finished, click Continue.
