How to Update Your Webgility Desktop Software

Before You Begin

Ensure you're logged in to Webgility Desktop.

It’s recommended to back up your Webgility database before proceeding.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Verify Your Current Version

Open Webgility Desktop and log in.

Go to Help and click on Terms and Privacy.

In the About Webgility window, note the current version installed.
2. Check for Available Updates

Navigate to Help and click on Check for Updates.

The system will display:

Your current installed version.
-
The latest version available (if any).

3. Initiate the Update

Click the Update button.

Ensure the checkbox “Take Webgility database backup before proceeding with the update” is selected.

Choose the backup location C:\Webgility when prompted.
4. Install the Update

Once the backup completes, the Webgility Installer will launch automatically.

A progress bar will display the update status.

After installation, the application will return to the Login screen.

5. Post-Update Setup & Verify The Update.

Log in again to Webgility Desktop.

The system will update the Database Automatically, it will take a few minutes to complete the process (depends on the Database Size too)

Select your sales channel and continue to the Dashboard.

Go to Help > Terms and Privacy.

Confirm the version number matches the latest release.
