Troubleshoot a Hosted Environment Not Syncing Automatically

This help article guides users through troubleshooting steps when automation stops working for Webgility Desktop in a hosted environments such as RightWorks or Summit Hosting. It explains how users can verify the Scheduler status, address issues when the Scheduler icon is missing, and restart automation to resume normal syncing. By following these instructions, users can quickly restore automated processes and minimize workflow disruptions.

Overview:

There could be multiple scenarios wherein automation in the hosted environment like Right works, or Summit Hosting stops working. This article explains how we can troubleshoot if the automation stops.

For Rightworks:

  1. Check if the scheduler is ON or not. If it is ON, but the scheduler icon is not visible in the system tray, then close the Webgility Desktop and QuickBooks application.
  2. Log off from the Rightworks at least for 2-3 minutes. Then log back in, and restart the Scheduler, as shown in the screenshots below.
