When you attempt to post an order to QuickBooks Online using Webgility Online, you may run into an error if the feature to post shipping charges is not enabled within your QuickBooks Online settings.

This configuration is essential for accurately processing shipping charges associated with your orders

 

Steps to solve this error:

 

Enable shipping in QuickBooks Online.

To enable shipping in QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online: Go to the QuickBooks Online website and enter your login credentials.​

  2. Navigate to the Gear Icon: Click on the gear icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner.​

  3. Select Account and Settings: Click on “Account and Settings” from the dropdown menu.​

  4. Go to the Sales Tab: In the left-hand menu, select the “Sales” tab.​

  5. Enable Shipping Options:

    1. Look for the “Shipping” section.

    2. Toggle the “Shipping” option to turn it on.

    3. You can also configure settings such as shipping methods, rates, and preferences.​

  6. Save Changes: After enabling and configuring shipping, click the “Save” button at the bottom right of the page.

Once you've completed these steps, shipping should be enabled for your transactions in QuickBooks Online. Now you can try to post the order again.
