This article helps Webgility Desktop users to resolve the alert message “You have already enabled product sync settings that automatically download the latest product data from both your accounting system and store. Please disable the product download settings in both the store and accounting.” that may appear while using Webgility Desktop Scheduler configuration. The alert occurs when both the accounting system (QuickBooks) and the connected sales channel are set to automatically download product data simultaneously, which can create conflicts. The article explains the reason behind this alert and provides steps to resolve it by adjusting product synchronization settings in Webgility Desktop.

Overview:

If you are syncing products from the Sales Channel through Scheduler by navigating to 'Download Sales Channel Updates' > 'Sales Channel Items' and this tab is active, then attempting to sync products from Accounting under the Master Data option in the Products and Inventory column will trigger the following alert when you try to save the sync settings under scheduler settings.

 


Steps of Troubleshooting:

1). Go to the 'Download Sales Channel Updates’ section under the same scheduler settings and check if the toggle for ‘Sales Channel Items’ is turned on, if yes, turn it off.

 

2). Then, after turning the toggle off, try to ‘Save’ the settings again and this time it will get successfully saved.
